Yak is a rare material, favorite of seya. It’s a noble fiber, as fine as cashmere, but stronger and warmer than cashmere. These animals endure the dramatic rhythms of the Tibetan Plateau, where temperatures swing from -40°C at night to a sun-drenched 30°C by day

This collection, we honor the material by leaving it undyed. By preserving its raw state, we protect the fiber’s natural integrity. The organic, subtle unevenness in the colors creates a depth no chemical dye could replicate.

Here, we made an original yarn, made of yak and Supima cotton. We made this yarn as fine as possible, while keeping 20% of yak in the blend. It is a precise balance that keeps the specific character of the yak alive in a lighter form. Both fibers remain undyed, the blend create a familiar yet unique heather grey color with a beautiful depth.
