We collaborated with the Japanese lacquer artist Yuri Kojima.
Yuri is born in a Japanese lacquer craftman family. The family served and crafted Urushi for the Samurai clan Matsue-han, as they provided the family like a patron starting 1639.
Urushi is painted in two step : a first layer of color, and then another color. Her special brush mark let appear beautifully the back color.
