Big Overshirt / Ink Dye Slab Thread
A fabric dyed with japnese traditonal ink, «sumi», normally used for calligraphy.
The yarns are dyed by hand, dried under the sun, and then weaved slowly on a shuttle loom machine.
The yarns have neps, which gives irregularities to the fabric. Finally, the fabric is washed with water multiple times until it becomes soft enough.
This method can only produce 30m by day.
